Kate McArthur
Discipline: Podiatry / Sports Podiatry University Qualifications: BHSc Podiatry - Auckland University of Technology Kate's primary interest is Sports Podiatry with a focus on Mountaineering, Snowboarding and Triathlons. Training in NZ also provided Kate with opportunities to work with NZ Rugby, NZ Ironman, Tri NZ, NZ Diabetes Society, NZ Netball, NZ OXFAM and many other sports. Prior to her Podiatry career Kate was a footwear specialist in Mountaineering equipment (boots especially). Kate also worked with Triathlon Athletes as a specialist technician for brands such as Adidas, Asics, New Balance, Nike, Mizuno, and Brooks. After graduating from University in 2006 Kate worked as a technical consultant for NZ triathlon, Smiths Sport Shoes, Asics, Adidas and New Balance in the central North Island of NZ. Kate has a certificate in Lower Limb Biomechanics with ICB (International College of Biomechanics) and Sir Edmund Hilary Outdoors Certificates in White Water Kayaking, Rock-Climbing, Canadian Canoeing and Mountaineering. Kate joined the experienced multidisciplinary team at City Clinic to continue to expand on her Sports Podiatry Career. |
